  ^^^ So true Lois. I have always been interested in the history of the concentration camps and have read a couple of books by JW's who were in them. It really broke my hear they had to suffer along with the millions of others. What really makes me angry is that the drunken Rutherford caused this to happy because of his arrogance. He is a true psychopath as Lois pointed out.

  An interesting point that others may be aware of, the first time I went to the Holocost Museum shortly after it opened they had a section with quit a bit of JW information and artifacts. The next time I went a few years ago they had taken down most of the exhibit. I am not sure why and no one would say at the museum. It seems to me they must have done more research and found out the info we know about their history.

  when i found out "ttat" i felt like muhammad ali when joe frazer knocked him down in their first fight in the 15th round.

  the ref came over grab my gloves and looked me in the eyes and asked me "are you ok, can you continue" and then gave me the standing 8 count.

  no it didn't knock me out but it staggered me.

  I am so thankful we came out together because so many lose their mates when they wake up. It has been difficult but we are working through it together. I am glad you finally posted your story. Love you

  I just read the whole article and this man is so disgusting. It makes me sick and very angry that the WTS supports these animals. I hope he has a long time in prison because the inmates do not like child molesters.

  i think much of it has been a delayed reaction to her df'ing, the general fallout when leaving the wtbs and family issues.. i just wanted to give you guys the heads up and give you a chance to show how much we care about her.. thanks for listening..

  Kate, I hope you will feel better real soon. It is hard going through what most of us have been through and you have the added stress of not having your child with you and having an abusive ex. Hang in there, it really does get better with time and we are here if you need to talk. Hugs!

  My Open Letter to the WTS

  Braincleaned, I hope someone will read it from the WT$ but from everything I have heard they don't give these letters to the GB. Sometimes writing your feelings out like you did can really help get the anger out. I wrote a letter too but never sent it, I may send it some day but for now it is still on my IPad. I did feel a little better once I got my angry feelings on paper.

  I also hope you can teach your children critical thinking so they can use their own mind to research the WT$ and I also hope you can make sure they get a college education. The odds are on your side with 3/4 of the youth leaving the WT$ so your children have a real chance of staying out.

  Villagegirl gave you some excellent points to make your letter have more impact.

  hay out there.. wife got back from her thursday meeting & now she's setteled down with the dog, a v large g&t (maid be me) & watching terminator 2 on the telly with her ipad on her lap looking up places to go for our holiday (& googling symptoms of to many antibiotics as my 16 year old is getting signs of ibs).

  so now is a good time to say hello.. well hello.

  my name is phats & i'm an ex jehovah's witness.. there, i've said it.. this must be like it is going to your first aa meeting.. i've already used up some of my posts for a newbe but i'm not in to the whole long story thing.. basically i've been out now for 8 years (mentally out for all but four or five of those years of my life when i made the commitment, got baptized & married.).

  leaving the university with my degree!.

  exams are finished and it's just a matter of days before i walk.. i was certainly stressed about doing this.

  today, thanks to a brave do and my colleague elkatire 1980, we make make public the manual, guidelines for traveling overseers (tga-s), of which existence many suspected, but even in english, it wasnt available.. from its very title page, this book indicates in bold letters:.

  it should not be shown to others, nor should any portion of it be reproduced.

  Very informative book

  i am reading "apocalypse delayed'-2nd edition by m.james penton-utp; isbn 0-8020-7973-3.

  1997.. this a kind story of how the jw came about from the early days of russel and his un-natural marriage through to the rutherford (same) and it does not pull any punches as it wades into the latter rutherford era the failed predictions (1975) and the nasty way by which people were treated.. this will not convince anyone you know who is 'in' if you wish to see them 'out' as such people are blind to any sort of argument and will have no ability to discuss, but will give the reader an immense breadth and depth of background material as to why things happened.

  how i wish i had found such a work years ago!.

  My husband and I both read this book and we enjoyed it. We did not know all of the history so we found it interesting.
